 Plano Table Tennis Club

PTTC (Plano Table Tennis Club), if I am not mistaken is an independent LLC that regulates table tennis activities at various Plano Rec. Centers along with Plano Rec. & Parks.

PTTC did a fantastic job of starting table tennis at Plano Rec. & players can play 6 days of competitive table tennis inside the gyms at TMRC (Tom Muehlenbek Rec. Center) & LRC (Liberty Recreation Center) as well as 7 days a week anytime the CRC (Carpenter Recreation Park) is open. 

PTTC also runs two table tennis tournaments an year which is similar to a USATT sanctioned tournament 

While PTTC did a great job of starting table tennis, current situation is not clear to me. This is a very sensitive matter but I will address it anyway keeping in mind that this blog  is not a complaint any means against PTTC but just only some constructive criticism & suggestions for improvements.

I have given my commets about various Rec Centers of Plano in seperate pages , so it is easy to follow.

 One thing I do know is that OPRC (Oak Point Rec. Center) & SJSC (Sam Johnson Senior Center) are not listed as part of Plano TTC.  

Only the other 3 centers are listed  at the address and hours tab.

Other than my comments in other pages, I am unable to make or withhold additional comments because the exact nature of of how PTTC releates to Plano Rec. is not very clear to me expecially because I am not sure whether Plano Rec. mostly considers this activity as a mostly recreational "game" of "ping pong" and not as a competitive Olympic sport of table tennis.
